[ a shop that had both vintage fashion and a tailor on hand, since this was the case it wasn't too outrageous to find italy wandering in and having a look around. it was kind of nostalgic, from the house to the items he finds himself drawn to.

he should probably really be at work, but it can't be helped that he skips out for excursions such as this ]

[Lily was in the back room, putting a load of laundry into the jumbo washing machine but returned to the front shortly after hearing the bell over the door chime, signaling the arrival of a potential customer. Ah, she remembers him from the Halloween party.]

[The first thing the family/roomie unit will notice upon stepping out their door this early morning will be...well, they'll possibly trip over a flower or seven. Since these cover the doorstep. Don't worry though, they've got a tarp over 'em to keep them from freezing. Beneath the tarp is a basket filled to the brim with various sweets, candies, chocolates and even some home made rice crispy treats.
The note attached, addressed to Lily + the baes, reads:

To the Lily and the Jungle Kats family unit,
Eat the candies sparingly and have these flowers as a reminder that spring hasn't abandoned us-- she'll be right around the corner soon enough, so keep your chins up! Also, thank you so much for having me over for dinner a couple weeks back! It was a lot of fun and maybe next time I can cook for you guys. Have a happy holiday and a good new year!

Christmas Gift!

[ If anything, Germany was a man of his word and despite the fact that his life had been turned upside down recently he had been working diligently on something that he'd promised Lily months ago.

On Christmas morning she'll find some nicely wrapped pfeffernusse in her mailbox along with a larger parcel that contains a clock much like this one. There's not quite as much detail to it since it's hard to work with his hands sometimes, but he did say he was going to make her a clock.

There's a handwritten note attached to the clock that reads 'Merry Christmas, Lily. I hope it holds up the way that your previous one did, please let me know if it gives you any trouble. It doesn't play music, but the bird still comes out the same way. - Germany'. ]

[wrapped with blue paper and a yellow ribbon is a gift for lily-- inside is a hand-written recipe for a cocktail, called The Lily Ivory (go figure.) there's also flower cookie cutters, a lavender apron with white edging, a pink scarf, and oddly, a singular peacock feather. there's also a note that reads--]

Dear Lily,

Ho ho ho! Merry Christmas! I hope you enjoy all of your gifts-- especially that drink! Though, if you're not into making it, I'm sure there's someone here that would make it for you. Have a great holiday!

The note inside is written in pink pen, much neater than one would normally expect of a five-year-old, but not quite as practiced as one would expect of someone of her apparent age either.]

Thank you again for helping me, Lily-san. I think we're friends already, but I hope we can spend more time together this year.

[ There's no way to tell who sent it (although the note probably narrows down the guesses), but she might run into a certain someone with an almost identical (probably white) scarf sometime during the winter. He probably found them on sale and thought they were cute so he had to get himself one, too. ]

[The weather was simply too nice. Arms behind his head, he'd invited her on a walk with innocence in every sense of the word. After their... talk... he wasn't sure if he could feel any sense of restfulness. It disturbed him. Thus, his desire to step out for air more often as he sorted his mind out.]

I do wonder if the weather is ever adverse here, save for the odd food rain.

[Lily wasn't completely sure what to think either after his unexpected confession. Various thoughts swirled through her own mind as she tried to figure out her own feelings. Sure, she tolerated him better these days but did she actually like him? Still, it seemed harmless enough to go out for a walk with him.]

It has been awfully nice lately with all the spring greenery coming in, hasn't it? The town seems free of tornadoes and hurricanes and such but it snowed so much the month before you arrived, I thought Eagle, Lion, and I would get snowed in.
