I'm alright, though I feel as if you tapped into my power a bit. Interesting... mine's still locked away, and yet that's possible.

Even normal folks have energy that I can piggyback on. That's how my friends were able to help when I needed more power to exorcise demons.

[She continued to lean on the tree for a bit, steadying herself and not yet bothering to brush away the stray bits of bark. She could worry about that after they got back to the house.]

[A nap was quickly rising up her list of priorities, right under getting home and getting a change of clothes.]

[Well, it was a good thing Lily was focused on the way ahead. If she had known he was going to take advantage of the situation to check out her backside, she might have kept that petticoat to herself! She'd almost surprised herself by offering it to him when she had nearly no clothes left herself. Had she been that worried about him?]

[Mercifully, the last few blocks to the house were free of any pedestrians or drivers. Soon, they were hiding behind a tree close to house 1421.]

Do you think it would be safer to go in the front or back? [She was mostly worried about Eagle or Lion spotting them before they can get their hands on some clothes.] And how long is it going to take that dragon of yours to get the keys?

The back, I think. The way I see it, we know precisely what's in the back yard, where cover would be, and if things are at its worst we can stay in the pool and wait until the others come home if push comes to shove.

That depends on if he's asleep. I'd tried calling him and he typically arrives at my side instantaneously in normal cases, but failed to do so today. I suppose that's a power I lack thanks to our host.

I'll need his attention to communicate with him.

Only if it's the shallow end. I can't swim and I'd hate the idea of explaining why we're skinny dipping. Eagle would be mortified too. But I reckon the fence would at least provide cover if we can manage to climb over.

[And she huffs at the mention of the Landlord.]

Of course, he causes even more problems for us. Where does that critter of yours usually stay when you go out? Maybe we can tap on a window to get him to come.
