While it would make being seen by random pedestrians less likely, I'm not not sure if it'd get us home any quicker with having to climb the fences between every yard. What if someone had a dog out in their yard too?

[A critter like that would be sure to start barking if two nearly nekkid strangers suddenly dropped into the yard, alerting anyone who might be home of their predicament and forcing them to flee again.]

Or something even worse... I've heard of other folks keeping lions as pets around here!

Maybe, we could make our way back on the streets and hide if we see anyone coming...
